Sharing a Custom Greeting Video on Social Media: What to Confirm First

Before posting a custom greeting video publicly, confirm that the agreed usage covers the platform and purpose. Private gifting, ordinary social sharing and paid promotion can involve different permissions, including performer participation, music and the recipient’s personal information.

Explain the exact use before ordering

Tell the provider whether the video will be sent privately, uploaded to a personal account, published on a brand page or used in an advertisement. Ask whether editing, adding logos and reposting are allowed. Keep the agreed usage scope in writing instead of assuming that purchasing a file includes unlimited rights.

Check music and recipient permission

A soundtrack in a delivered video is not proof that it is licensed for every platform or commercial use. Ask about the permitted scope. Get the recipient’s agreement before publishing their full name, photographs or other identifying details, and avoid exposing locations or contact information.

Write a truthful caption

For a personal gift, a caption such as “A special birthday message for a friend” explains the context without overstating it. If you promote a service, describe the actual customization available. Do not invent testimonials, celebrity connections or claims that a post is guaranteed to pass moderation or receive a particular number of views.

Inspect the upload preview

Check cropping, sound, captions and the cover image before publishing. Keep the original file. Platform requirements and moderation outcomes can change, so follow the current prompts shown by the platform. If a rights question arises, pause the disputed use and clarify the permission rather than repeatedly reposting the same material.

Discuss your personalized greeting video

Blessings Video offers custom greeting video enquiries, including African group and individual presenter styles. Send the occasion, preferred sample, recipient name and required date so the available performers, exact scope, price and delivery can be confirmed before production.
