Portrait or Landscape African Greeting Video? Plan for the Playback Screen

The best orientation for an African greeting video depends on where it will be watched. A phone message and a large celebration screen may need different framing. Discuss your playback plans with Blessings Video on WeChat 344469948 before filming rather than relying on cropping the finished file.

Identify the main viewing device

Tell the service whether the greeting will be viewed on a phone, television, projector or another screen. Confirm the actual screen proportions when preparing an event. Ask whether the selected team supports the requested orientation. A sample in one format does not establish the format of every custom order.

Protect the sign and the action from cropping

Names, signs, subtitles and movement need room within the frame. If you plan to add the greeting to a larger edit, explain that requirement in advance. Cropping a landscape clip into portrait can remove important details, so do not assume one recording can serve every layout without compromise.

Test the delivered file before the occasion

Open the original file on the intended device and check direction, sound and text readability. If an event is involved, arrange a practical backup playback method. File format, resolution and any extra versions should be part of the confirmed delivery scope, not assumptions made after receipt.

Frequently asked question

Can I request both portrait and landscape versions?

You can ask, but availability, production requirements and any additional charge need to be confirmed.
